If you step on a brick that's enemy controlled, you'll start a battle. During battles, your hero and the monster under attack will go into a non-stop back and forth clash of automatic combat. But that doesn't mean you won't be able to make use of your special skills and potions to give yourself a leg up.
Anytime you defeat a monster you'll pick up more gold, experience, and at times you'll get new weapons and armor. Thanks to your EXP points you'll eventually level up, which in turn improves your character's attributes and unlocks new skills. Each of your skills allows you to add on a harder hitting attack method, or create energy shields or launch healing charms.
